Career Opportunity Day
The main goal of the ‘Career Opportunity Day’ is to give our members the possibility to connect with our partners. More specifically, participants can get introduced to different national companies in the context of a job fair and hence, discuss potential job or internship possibilities. Furthermore, our partners have the option to host short workshops during which the students can gather insightful tips and tricks on how to improve their overall job candidate profile. On top of that, a panel discussion or presentation held by key professional experts enables participants to learn more about a specific hot topic within the economics and business domain including among others sustainable finance, cryptocurrencies or neobanks. Last but not least, our partners, ANESEC members and alumni receive the time to exchange on their experiences and impressions during casual networking drinks, creating the perfect ground for some potentially valuable connections.
Business Days
The exact concept of the ‘Business Days’, enabling interactions between ANESEC members and partners within a formal framework, is reimagined every year. As such, this event has consisted of job presentations, mini-interviews or workshops over the past years.
Halloween Warmup
During this year’s Halloween Warmup, the committee organised an informal event in Luxembourg’s city centre during which our members had the chance to meet other business and economics students over some drinks and good music.
Work out to help out
As a non-profit organisation, we do our best to have a positive impact on society and the environment by raising money for a good cause during various events. Hence, the ANESEC committee has already supported several associations financially, including Médecins sans Frontières, Pure Oceans or Wings for Life!
Instagram quizzes
In order to reward our loyal social media followers, ANESEC regularly publishes Instagram quizzes about various current and historical topics related to the economics and business domain, awarding the winner with valuable prizes such as gift vouchers, or electronic devices.
Afterworks, networking drinks, …
These rather casual events should allow our members to connect with individual ANESEC alumni as well as the AMUSE association. The latter reunites former ANESEC members who are now active working professionals in Luxembourg. Hence, during these informal events, students have the opportunity to meet experienced employees of renowned companies in Luxembourg while learning more about the evolution of ANESEC since its foundation.
